Privacy Policy

Time Card Calculator ("we," "our," or "the site") is a free tool for calculating work hours, breaks, overtime, and pay. This page explains what data the site collects and how it's used. In short: your timesheet data never leaves your browser.

Your timesheet data

Every day row, rounding setting, overtime rule, and pay rate you enter is saved only in your browser's local storage. Nothing about your timesheets — clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, pay rates, or totals — is transmitted to us or stored on any server. We have no database of user timesheets and no way to see what you've entered. Clearing your browser's site data will permanently remove anything saved.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic to the site (for example, how many people visit, which pages are popular, and what devices they use). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information, which may include your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and used only to improve the site — it is not linked to your timesheet data, which, again, never reaches us. You can read Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy, and opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies and local storage

Aside from the analytics cookies described above, the site uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to save your timesheets and preferences, such as your chosen theme. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Accounts and personal information

There are no accounts, sign-ups, or logins on this site, so we never collect names, email addresses, or payment information through the calculator itself.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-purpose calculator and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
